Delineation
The Department of Geography at the University of Alabama was set up in 1903. The division joins 12 tenured or residency track work force, two fulltime educators, three master staff people, three full-time pros, and two administrative experts. The workplace offers B.A. besides, B.S. degrees in Geography with centers in Environment and Natural Resources, Regional and Urban Planning, Geographic Information Techniques, and Human Geography. Likewise, the workplace offers minors in Geography and GIS, and supports in GIS and Urban and Regional Planning. Included within the division are the GIS and Remote Sensing Laboratory, Cartographic Research Laboratory, and the University Map Library.
